Yetty & Debo's Wedding

I finally got to kick off this year's wedding coverage this past weekend. Ehis and I went up to Arlington (while narrowly avoiding the severe storms and tornadoes in the process!) to do what we do best--provide great documentary photography for Yetunde & Debo's wedding.

They are an out-of-town couple but I got the chance to meet up with them prior to their wedding when I went to Dallas area to photograph the Jamie Foxx parties last month. During the course of that meeting we vibed really well and I knew that they'd be awesome to photograph.

As usual, I tried to challenge myself to apply my creative vision while capturing their story. Besides it being a bit chilly and windy outside, the day of the ceremony there was little evidence of the storms that came through the area the previous day.

And on a final note, I love covering Nigerian events--the culture and attire come across as vividly as any other detail.

Congratulations to Yetty & Debo! I wish you two the very best.
Here are some of my favorite shots. I had a hard time narrowing them down...
