Ofili, a friend of mine, is preparing to launch a business venture and wanted some photographs that he could use for an upcoming website and promotional materials. Even though he has never been photographed (outside of snapshots) before, this session was a breeze. I've found that the familiarity can help things along and allow us to get some strong images with little effort.

As usual I kept things pretty carefree and allowed his character to shine through. Here are a few of my favorites from the session:

I made the trip up to the DFW area last weekend for Ebere and Femi's engagement session.

I'm glad I got an opportunity to meet them prior to their wedding day--they are a great, easy-going couple so I know we will get along great! They were very open to trying different posing ideas and laughed at all my jokes (even the corny ones!).

The session was very fun and I believe we got some good stuff that represents their relationship and captures their energy.

I've been absolutely terrible with respect to blogging. I've been busy photographing both events and people but haven't been as consistent with keeping everyone updated with what I've been doing. So that will end today.

I'll make sure to post plenty of new stuff over the next few days. :)
