New Article in Weddings in Houston Magazine

I just got a hold of the new issue of Weddings in Houston magazine which reminded me to share that I'm featured in the article "Picture This" which features many photographers in town (including yours truly) sharing our thoughts on the latest trends in the wedding photography industry.

The magazine is a great resource I recommend to all couples planning their wedding so next time you're in your favorite bookstore be sure to pick one up.

Or, if you ask me nicely I'll give you one. :)

Looking to 2010 Adventures

2009, as good as it was to me, is now old news. I'm now looking forward to sharing more great stories of couples enjoying their most exciting, special day through my eyes and lens.

This entry is a bit of a tease, I must admit; the real goods (more photos) are coming soon. Here are a few sneak peaks of weddings from the end of the year:

Houston Musuem District Engagement Photos | Amber & Vicente

Amber and Vicente have been together for 7 years and you can see their connection in every photo. We went to the museum district and I just let these two wreak havoc--the good kind, of course. :-)

Once again, it's always fun to take on the challenge of going to familiar areas and coming up with something new.

Here's a few from a fun Halloween late afternoon and early evening...

Discovery Green | Downtown Enagement Session - Ranesha & Fran

It's a small world after all and I'm reminded of that all the time. I know Fran from college and met his fiancee, Ranesha, at Patricia and Uzo's wedding last January as she was a bridesmaid in that wedding. A side note, Ranesha actually was the one who wound up with the bouquet after this photo was made.

I'm looking forward to their wedding at Ashton Gardens this November.

We started out at the popular Discovery Green. It's always a challenge to come up with something a little different when an area is so often used in photographs but I think these two were up to the challenge.
