Well I was treated to a surprise when Tatsha Robertson contacted me after seeing a certain special couple in the Knot. She explained that she was doing a story on finding love that would be featured in the pages of Essence magazine.

I'm not surprised--Dami and Niyi come across as a couple you'd want to get to know and I'm sure that factored into her decision to showcase their story.

Now I have to tease Dami a bit. When we began their engagement session in New Orleans she implored me to coach her and Niyi because they "aren't professional models like the couples on your website." Of course I let her know that the people she saw weren't professionals--just regular people--and who knew what magic could happen.

Well now we know. ;)
